Mission Statement To fulfill its sacred role as the Mother Church of the Archdiocese of San Francisco, it is the mission of the Cathedral of Saint Mary of the Assumption, for the glory of God and under the stewardship of the Archbishop, to deepen the spiritual lives of all people through liturgical celebrations, education, music and art, and dedicated service to the community. In the image of Our Lady's life of service and through her intercession, we do all this in a spirit of generosity, unity, and love in the name of Our Lord Jesus Christ. |
